After the incredible season of WandaVision, fans are thrilled for Marvel’s up-coming show Falcon and the Winter Soldier. This new show will center on ‘The Falcon” (aka Sam Wilson), played by Anthony Mackie, and ‘The Winter Soldier’ (aka Bucky Barnes), played by Sebastian Stan. Only 2 weeks after WandaVision, Falcon and the Winter Soldier is set to come out this Friday, March 19th.
There is said to only be 6 episodes, this show will link to many more Marvel projects soon to come out. According to the head writer, Malcolm Spellman, he “can think of three that [he is] not allowed to talk about.” This show will be colossal for the Marvel storyline, creating connections to new storylines.
The show will follow Bucky and Sam as they deal with the supervillain, Helmut Zemo. This infamous character was in Captain America: Civil War (2016). We have learned that a militia will be following Helmut Zemo throughout the show. Sharon Carter will also be featured in Falcon and the Winter Soldier, played by Emily VanCamp. Some sources have stated that Carter will have been through a lot since we last saw her in Captain America; Civil War.
The first episode is said to “start off with a bang.” The show is supposed to be it is rated mature, as it is jam-packed. Throughout the six episodes, we will be learning who Sam Wilson and Bucky Barnes are because as of right now, we know little about their backstories. We will see intimate parts of the characters, it is rumoured that we will see Bucky in therapy. The creators really want the audience to have the full experience while learning about the character’s lives.
Altogether, Falcon and the Winter Soldier will be thrilling story since, I am sure you have noticed, Sam Wilson and Bucky Barnes will be an interesting pair.
