Pop singer/songwriter Peach Martine has just released her newest single “Romeo and Juliet” available on all streaming platforms. The up-beat song is a fusion of pop-punk and alt-rock, alluding to iconic classic rock bangers with a modern flare. Her striking punk tone is highlighted through impressive vocals which build throughout the piece to create a high-energy teen anthem. Martine perfectly captures the contemporary experience of her fellow youths, expressing the frustration and passion that every young adult today can relate to. “Romeo and Juliet” is not your typical love song. With angsty melodies and bold lyricism, Peach Martine explores the complications of modern love through her rebellious themes.
The Miami-based artist has a niche for creating rock-fueled punk anthems that give you no choice but to scream the lyrics to. She pairs creative production aspects with grunge vocals to curate a sound unlike anyone else in the current pop music scene. At just 19 years old, Peach has already captured the hearts of millions with her clever, vulnerable songwriting that tackles the highs and lows of being a young woman in today’s world. She uses her platforms to promote feminism and empowerment to her fans, acting as a good example to the impressionable young women who make up her audience.
Highly influenced by her hometown of Cleveland — the ‘Birthplace of Rock N Roll’ — Peach grew up listening to artists such as The Rolling Stones, Led Zeppelin, Dolly Parton, ABBA and The Beatles, as well as modern mainstream acts like Taylor Swift, Lady Gaga and Lana Del Rey, all of which have influenced her unique sound. She plays multiple instruments, including piano, guitar, violin, electric bass and harmonica. Regardless of her youth, Peach is an old soul who is well-versed in the professional music world due to her eclectic resume.
At just 16, she was invited on American Idol where she astounded the judges with her original song performance and landed a golden ticket to Hollywood. Still in high school at the time, she decided instead to hit the road with High School Nation, which gave her a glimpse into the life of a touring musician. During the pandemic, Peach began posting her music on TikTok. Since her start on the app, Peach has grown her social platform immensely. Over the past few years, she has racked up over a million TikTok followers, and her popularity on the app has undoubtedly changed her life and career.
Peach made her introduction last year with the release of her debut poem EP, Love, Peach, which amassed millions of cumulative streams. Already this year, Peach has released her viral TikTok track, "I Would Have Given You The Moon," and racked up over 2.8 million views on her "True Story" music video which was released in partnership with Facebook. With a dedicated fanbase across Instagram and TikTok, Peach has caught the attention of several music industry professionals who recognize her one-of-a-kind talent.
